The Staubach Company opened the Palo Alto office in 1990. The strategy was twofold: 1. Provide a team of local professionals to service Staubach's clients' needs in Northern California, and 2. Penetrate the most important high-tech market in the world. Realizing the need to be "local" in Bay Area markets outside Silicon Valley, Staubach opened offices in San Francisco (1998) and the East Bay (1999).
